I know! It’s amazing isn’t it??
It’s actually on my list now “what to do in Japan”!

Yes, it is amazing
If I had to choose, I would probably taste cherry because it might taste very good and green tea because it sounds like something new (I drink green tea regularly, but never tasted products with such flavor)
Let us know how that KitKat tasted once you get a chance

I never blogged about Japan’s “Kit Kat” flavors! Good post!
I never eat Kit Kat, so I don’t think about it.
But, I’ve heard that when Kit Kat first came to Japan, it wasn’t popular at all. So they started a campaign with new flavors…and it made Kit Kat more popular.
You didn’t mention their “Brandy & Orange” flavor…and that many cities have their own Kit Kat flavor!.
There’s “Exotic Tokyo“, “Exotic Kansai“, “Exotic Hokkaido“, etc!

In Japan there are many products in their city’s flavor, yes
Like potato chips, chocolate, candy , ramen etc…
That’s one of the interesting thing about Japan, I think
In Hokkaido I found Shio (salt) Chocolate, uni (sea urchin) crackers, ikasumi (squid ink) chewing gum, miso candy etc… and in Okinawa there was Gooya (bitter melon… “Momordica charantia??”) juice in vending machines… I didn’t try them though (><) yeww…
I didn’t really care about these different flavor Kit Kat before, but I think they are good souvenirs for foreign people.

Yes, almost every city and town in Japan has a specialty…even small towns!
Do you know the famous Tokyo souvenir: 「東京バナナ」 (“Tokyo Banana”)?
umepontarou said
Of course I do! That’s the famous one:)
It’s like… 「白い恋人」(White Love) in Hokkaido, 「551豚まん」 (Pork Bun) in Osaka,八つ橋 (Yatsuhashi=Rice Cake) in Kyoto etc…

I never understood why Tokyo has “Tokyo Banana“. There are no banana trees in Tokyo!
(Actually, I was at 上野駅 (Ueno Stn) today and I saw a “Tokyo Banana” store…I had forgotten, it’s not written as: 「東京バナナ」, but it’s 「東京バナ奈」!
).
umepontarou said
I didn’t know that it was 「東京バナ奈」!
Why they use the Kanji「奈」?

I don’t know. A joke maybe?

Yeah I guess:p
